Beard Power

Beards have made a huge comeback. Studies on women’s responses to facial hair on men found strong links to perceived manliness and being better dads. Stubble and full beards are generally attractive to the opposite sex. Personally, I’m holding out for a resurgence in chest hair fads. I’m destined for greatness if that ever happens!

The Climbing OG

I was bouldering with some friends at Planet Granite in Sunnyvale, CA. It was a holiday so it was pretty busy, but we found a little bit of wall for ourselves and got to working on a problem together. While grappling with this wall, a man that I would guess to be in his fifties came over to do the same.

Great day of hiking in Kyogaku No Mori area around Mino. I was super excited to try out my new Osprey Manta AG 36 pack today and it performed flawlessly. The total trek was only 2 hours plus some change with a killer initial climb. Loved it.

The Elevator Squat

Christmas Vacation

This year for Christmas I brought the family to my home town of Wichita, Kansas and it’s been pretty wonderful getting to hang with my folks and sister. I even got to spend a couple days helping out at my sister’s dog bakery and grooming shop. Look at these doggie cookies!
