Archer L-Sit Chins

This week I’m back on my program and so excited for the skill training. I can finally devote the proper time to working on them without interruption. Or at least that’s the plan.

The good thing about this program is that these are all skills that are well within my reach. Some of them I’ve had in the past however have had to back burner them for numerous reasons. Now I’ve got a solid framework to work off of and I’m happy with the programming so it’s just a matter of putting in the work.

Today’s Session -> Upper Body

Prep – Mobility and some flexibility work to get my shoulders, wrists, and lower back ready for the skills. Also warmed up some handstands

Practice

  • Double Arm Lever Bent Arm Press to HS lower back down to Double Arm Lever

Single reps with 2 minute rest. No idea how many reps I did. Just kept doing them until form sucked then moved on to the second skill and did same.

  • Pull thru to Back Lever, lower to German Hang, pull back through to Front Lever.

Play

My play for this day will be the floor combo that I posted awhile ago. Did 4 run thrus on each side.

Push

  • Ring deep push-ups with feet elevated slightly.

Aim for 5 slow reps each time for 5 sets. After completing all the push-ups,

  • Archer L-sit Chin-Ups

Single reps each side with 2 minute break. Then once I couldn’t do anymore I did single arm reverse rows super slow for a single set until burned out.

Song of the day -> Bad Guy by Billie Eilish
